Trunkrs has moved to a new location in Nieuwegein. In the new distribution centre, the same-day delivery service has 300 per cent more throughput capacity.
The same-day specialist says it has grown strongly since its establishment in 2015. According to CEO Jan Wijn, demand for same day delivery continues to grow strongly, especially around the busy December month. With the new location, the company is ready for that growth.
Trunkrs uses nox NightTime Express Netherlands' distribution centre in Nieuwegein, a location that was already set up for fast parcel processing. Jan Wijn: "At Trunkrs, everything is aimed at delivering parcels quickly and reliably. The new distribution centre was already ideally equipped for fast parcel processing and delivery. We didn't need to change much to optimise the location. This allowed us to move seamlessly, without much disruption to our customers. We were fully operational again literally on the same day and are now ideally equipped for further growth."
