Prologis is building a 90,000-square-metre logistics centre in Venlo. To this end, it has signed a built-to-suit agreement with an as yet unknown provider of high-tech electronics.
The XXL DC will be built on Green Port Lane at Trade Port Noord business park. Prologis is developing a 90,000-square-metre property, of which the electronics giant will lease 70,000 square metres. The remaining area will be built at risk and will become available for lease in April 2019.
"The cooperation with this customer, which already exists in many places worldwide, is now also taking place in Venlo, a logistics hotspot in the Netherlands. We look forward to expanding this cooperation further," Bram Verhoeven, country manager Prologis Benelux, said of the agreement.
