Picnic will collect shipments for DHL from customers' homes. The collection service will start from 2 April in Gouda and Zoetermeer.

Picnic customers can give their parcels to deliverers of the online supermarket. These can be return parcels for online shops, but also other parcels they would like to have sent. Picnic does not deliver the parcels itself, but delivers them to DHL.

This is not the first time Picnic has partnered with other parties in e-commerce. For instance, it collected returns from Wehkamp from customers and brings Nespresso capsules to their homes. In Houten, customers can give their borrowed library books to Picnic deliverers.

The collaboration with DHL will start in two cities, but will soon be rolled out to the more than 100 locations in the Netherlands where Picnic operates.
