In this series of videos, the finalists of Logistics Manager of the Year introduce themselves to the industry. What role do they fulfil within their organisation? And what is their achievement in this election? Today: Ronald Kleijwegt, VP Global Sales and Managing Director EMEA at Blume Global.

Ronald brings more than 20 years of supply chain experience to the Logistic Manager of the Year election. Before joining Blume Global, Kleijwegt held management positions at the Hewlett-Packard Company and Jusda SCM. In his current role, he is responsible for setting up and rolling out Blume Global in the EMEA region.

Ronald owes his nomination in the Logistic Manager of the Year election to a project he led for 10 years, namely the establishment of the New Silk Road: a rail link between inland China and Europe.

Final day 26 March

On 26 March, all candidates will take the stage during the knowledge and networking event in the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht. During their performance, they will have the chance to convince both the jury and the public of their qualities as logistics managers. The jury, led by jury chairman Sander de Leeuw, will ultimately decide who will become the Logistics Manager of the Year and take over from title holder Job Sonke.
